Lead Java Developer

We have an immediate need for an experienced Lead Java professional, and other team members, who have experience in producing web-based products as part of an Agile team.
We are looking for people with experience working for a product company – software, service or business network. This is a dynamic and fast moving technology environment looking for great talent that is ready to help build online products with tangible, real-world benefits. Duties and Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Experience in current technologies – Maven, Hibernate, Spring MVC and Spring Security
• Experience in building components that present services to a wide variety of requesters
• Experience in multi-layered architectures and encapsulation of function
• Must be a natural leader and mentor to others.
• Service Layer Developer:
• Experience in defining, managing, writing and testing service definitions and adapter layers to the core system services.
• Experience in designing and creating SDKs for client-side platforms.
• Presentation Layer Developer:
• Experience in the presentation layer – AJAX, JQuery, CSS. Must have a sense of style.
• Mobile platform experience also desired.
  
  Development Support:
• Test support – able to envision use scenarios and design test cases
• Test management – able to track test execution, bugs, and retest.
• Able to manage outsourcing the automation of tests to build regression suite.
  
  All
• Must have excellent communication, modeling and documentation skills
• Must love working in a high-powered, but intense, team - in a supportive environment
• Prefer experience in a test-driven development environment
• Must be able to work within constraints – scope, time, and budget
• Experience in multi-party, business networks desired
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Physics, Philosophy, Linguistics, Computer Science, or any related field from an accredited institution – or equivalent experience.
• Project experience consistent with the team responsibilities
