SmartEquip Announces Strategic Consulting Partner

SmartEquip announces a new business relationship between the company and Larry Kaye, its former V.P. of Fleet Business Development. Kaye has been working exclusively with rental fleets over the last three years helping them understand the value proposition of the SmartEquip Network and the efficiencies that can be realized through labor savings and parts spend.

“In today’s business environment, many of the leading rental companies and equipment dealers are struggling to regain efficiencies they once enjoyed, but due to the recession were forced to make significant reduction in their operating staff and operations processes are struggling. The timing is right for helping businesses understand how they can work efficiently going forward with the resources they have,” says Kaye.

John Caskey, Executive Director of SmartEquip says, “This should be a continuation of a long relationship with Larry and his time with the company gives him real insight into our business and the needs of our customers. Kaye will be reestablishing the consulting company, Script International which is where Alex Schuessler (CEO of SmartEquip), John Caskey and he worked together during the late 1990’s to develop CAT Rental Stores in over 30 countries.
