Q: Can you describe your role at SmartEquip?
A: I'm the Strategic Accounts Manager in Europe. My focus is on expanding SmartEquip's presence across the European markets.
Q: Describe your experience in the construction technology space.
A: I came to SmartEquip after 25 years working in the tech sector for a rental ERP provider. I've spent a lot of time supplying software into the equipment rental sector.
Q: What are you reading or listening to (book, podcast, music) right now?
A: I’m currently rotating between Diary of a CEO and an AI Masterclass. I’m hoping to extrapolate enough knowledge from both to eventually delegate my entire personality to a well-calibrated chatbot. I’m about 15% of the way there.
Q: What is your favorite motivational quote?
A: “If you’re on time you’re late” is my favorite quote/statement at the minute. Not so much motivational, but I feel in today’s world basic punctuality and discipline is sometime overlooked and often the simplest and most important skill to attain and display.
Q: What is your favorite vacation destination?
A: All destinations. I love traveling. I’ve been fortunate over my career to have travelled to some wonderful places including Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Asia, and Europe all in the name of work, but coming back to Europe for a vacation where
