SmartEquip Launches Employee Giving Program

For National Children's Cancer Awareness Month, SmartEquip is pleased to announce their corporate charity partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The company’s charitable program matches 50 cents on every dollar raised by employees. SmartEquip has partnered with Curetivity, a local non-profit organization, who serves as their local point of contact for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital volunteer opportunities, funding campaigns and events.

“We will continue to grow internationally, continue our expansion into contractor markets, and continue to be utterly maniacal about improving operating efficiency for suppliers and fleet owners alike.” - Alexander Schuessler, Founder & President of International Group

Meet Our Team

Ana Loureiro
Quality Assurance Analyst

Q Can you describe your employee journey at SmartEquip?

A I began my SmartEquip career as a customer support representative and had the opportunity to learn about the product and how the business works. My team was supportive and patient as I was learning and gained confidence.

I was recently offered the opportunity to move to the Quality Assurance team. I did not hesitate and accepted. I knew the transition to QA would be just as straightforward, because I knew my team would give me the support I need to succeed!

Q What is your favorite thing about SmartEquip?

A The family vibe – most of the people started with the company and they have known each other for a long time. They genuinely support the company as they watch it grow.

Q What is the most unique or most beloved item in your WFH workspace?

A My mom’s coffee and cheese bread; they help me get started for the day. When we were working in the office, I always missed the breakfast rush and never got to enjoy the Brazilian delicacy warm out of the oven. Now, I start my day with ease and comfort!

Q What is your go-to weekly activity?

A My go-to weekly activity varies depending on my mood and the season, but I really enjoy hiking in the mountains, spending time with my daughters, having brunch with my friends, and watching movies.

Q What is your favorite vacation destination?

A My favorite vacation destinations thus far have been Quebec and the Caribbean islands. I also enjoy going back to my home county, Brazil. Due to COVID, we stayed closer to home this summer and visited Niagara Falls. Although it was eerie not seeing people walking around, laughing, and having fun, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to treat my girls to a vacation!
